The best way to get started in birding is to go on a birding adventure tour. There have been  more than 980 species of birds recorded in Thailand. Over 150 species of birds reside in or visit Koh Yao Noi. And 86 species of Kingfishers world wide, in Thailand 13 species.Hornbills are primarily fugivorous (fruit eaters) and found in Koh Yao are resident.Hornbills are absolutely stunning when the sunlight hits their beautiful shiny blue feathers.It is sufficient enough mangrove forest around in Koh Yao Noi.

Koh Yao is located in the South of Phang-nga Bay ,42 kilometers away from mainland of Phang-Nga province and 20 kilometers away from Phuket Island. Total area 141.067 square Kilometers, consisting of 44 islands. Koh Yao Noi is the center of government.We will pick-up you from your Hotel in Phuket and transfer vise visa to Koh Yao Noi  for Hornbill and other bird sightings.

Remark: from September> May,You'll see Ruddy and Brown-winged Kingfisher, Mangrove Pitta and other migratory species.

Pick up from your hotel in Phuket,transfer by Long-taled Boat to Koh Yao Noi Early morning bird watching. Explore Hornbill birds. (Oriental Pied Hornbill), Collared Kingfisher,Brown-winged Kingfisher,Lesser Coucal and more.

Breakfast/explore Mangrove Whistler,Flyeater,Ashy Tailorbird,Streak-breasted Woodpecker,Ruddy Kingfisher,Black-capped Kingfisher and others.

Start the second bird watching Program.
