Koh Libong khow as the biggest island in Trang province, this island is one of the best
sites for wintering and passage shorebirds in the Peninsula.
Libong is noted as a significant wader-watching site in the Peninsula, The area is surrounded by the mud-flats, especially in Toob Beach where flocks of immigrating waders crowdedly inhabit during the winter, Crab Plover is oringinally found here,and other kinds of waders like Bar-tailed Godwit, Eurasian Curlew, Great Knot, Plover and other various kinds of shorebirds.
