Koh Libong Bird Watching


Koh Libong khow as the biggest island in Trang province, this island is one of the best
sites for wintering and passage shorebirds in the Peninsula.

Libong is noted as a significant wader-watching site in the Peninsula, The area is  surrounded by the mud-flats, especially in Toob Beach where flocks of immigrating  waders crowdedly inhabit during the winter, Crab Plover is oringinally found here,and other kinds of waders like Bar-tailed Godwit, Eurasian Curlew, Great Knot, Plover and  other various kinds of shorebirds.   


Beaches and mudflats along the coast are the substaintial sources of food for waders  like Malaysian Plover, the immagrating birds like Asian Dowicher, Crab Plover, etc.
Various kinds of shorebirds like Frigatebirds, Guls and Terns find the forest in this  island  as their good residences and nest-building sources...

Day 1: Trang>Koh Libong
 
-Pick up from your hotel in Trang or Krabi or from Air-port/transfer to Koh Libong, We wilL check into Bungalows/continue to Birding. Meals:L/D
Day 2-3: Koh Libong
 
-We will spend for 2 more day of bird watching in Koh Libong.
