Khao Nor Chuchi Bird Watching

A Lowland forested park of 150sq km, Khao Nor Chuchi/Khao Pra-Bang Khram national park supports the most diverse remaining lowland bird fauna of any site so far known in Peninsular Thailand, with over 200 species of resident and migratory birds. Species includes a great many lowland specialists and other species which are scarce elsewhere: Malaysian Honeyguide, Crested Wood-Partridge, Crested Fireback, Jambu Fruit-Dove, Diard's Trogon, Red-crowned Barbet, Javan Frogmouth, Black-throated Babbler, Ferruginous Babbler, Large Wren-Babbler, Rufous-crowned Babbler, Striped Wren-Babbler and Chestnut-rumped babbler . This national park is the only site known to support a potentially viable population of Gurney's Pitta , with 8-12 probable territories so far located. Hooded Pitta, Giant Pitta and Banded Pitta also present.

06:00	Breakfast/Pick-up from your Hotel and transfer to Jao Fah pier.
Day 1 :Khao Nor Chuchi.
	Pick-up from Hotel or Air-port ,to Khao Pra-Bang Kram Wildlife Sanctuary (Khao Nor Chuchi)
	Arrive at Khao Nor Chuchi/Check-into Morakot Resort(with A/C/ )
12:00	Lunch.
14:00	We will enjoy bird watching trip at this lowland forest for 3 days or more Try our luck if we can catch a sight of the Gurney's Pitta while we are looking for other birds.
17:00	Return back to Bungalows.
18:00	Dinner.
	Meals:B/L/D
	Overnight at: Morakot Resort
Day 2 :Khao Nor Chuchi.
05:00	Breakfast.
06:40	Early morning birding/walk throught Trail A,B,C and D, to explore Banded Pitta, Gurney's Pitta,Black-backed Kingfisher,Blue-eared Kingfisher,Red-crowned Barbet, Red-throated Barbet, Black-throated Babbler, Ferruginous Babble and other birds.
12:00	Lunch/Check Out.
14:00	Start the afternoon birding program/explore Gurney's Pitta,Banded Kingfisher and other species at Trail U.
17:00	Transfer to hotel in Krabi Town.
19:00	Dinner.
	Meals:B/L/D
	Overnight at: Morakot Resort.
Day 3 :Mangrove Trip in front of Krabi Town.
07:00	Arrive at the pier, Mr.Dai take your to explore the Birds into Mangrove forests,You'll see Brown-winged Kingfisher,Ruddy Kingfisher,Ashy Tailorbird,Mangrove Pitta,Mangrove Whistler,Flyeater,Oriental White-eye,Blue Rock Thrush,Blue Whistling Thrush,Nordmann"s Greenshank,and other Shore birds.
11:30	Return to the pier.
12:00	Lunch.
13:30	End of the trip.
15:00	Transfer to air-port.
